Recouture is the work of Hilde Hoff Nordskar, one of Norway's most distinctive design voices. Her one-of-a-kind pieces have travelled from the studio outside Oslo to Times Square to Chicago, and led to collaborations with Norrøna and HÅG.

She grew up surrounded by Norwegian craft traditions, and founded Recouture in 2023 with the åkle as her signature.

Every piece is handcrafted in-house with vintage åkle and curated cultural textiles. These are garments with emotional value, each one carries a story.
