This Two-of-a-kind Norrøna Anorak has been revived through Recouture’s signature redesign process. Originally an outlet piece, it has been reimagined with Recouture’s very first åkle – a twill woven textile produced locally at Grinakervev in Norway. The intricate patterns draw inspiration from a rich variety of Norwegian woven carpets, each design echoing regional heritage from the early 1900s.
Upcycled at Recouture’s sewing studio on Hadeland, this piece merges timeless sports form with cultural craftsmanship – giving it new life, story, and purpose.
Size: S
The piece features the signature Recouture fold at the back and is therefore also suitable for size M. It has been cropped in length from the original style for a more suitable fit.

Piece no 70.
One-of-a-kind.
This exquisite Vintage Norrøna cotton anorak was produced in Norway, as far as I know, around 1970. It's crafted from the finest cotton. The anorak is a lightweight version with simple details. It features a protective hood with drawstrings, a front half-zip opening and adjuster at bottom. It features the signature Recouture front and A-shaped backside with a fold. The anorak has some marks from the past, including yellow marks on the left shoulder. Please examine the flats to identify these defaults. I feel it's not visible while wearing it because the once crisp white color has washed out and faded over time. But, what could be more captivating than a jacket with a rich history, made in Norway, infused with Norwegian Åkle heritage?
Size: 44/46 (XS-M)
Depending on whether you prefer a fitted or oversized look, this jacket comfortably fits sizes XS to M.
52cm — Shoulder Across
59cm — Chest Width
56cm — Bottom Width
56,5cm — Sleeve length

Anorak: 100% Cotton / Åkle 100% Wool.
