Redesign your waste into products.
Launching in 2026, Redesign as a Service helps brands turn damaged goods, returns, manufacturing defects and surplus stock into new, sellable items. Too often, products are discarded simply because repair costs are too high, the workflow is too slow, or the item doesn’t fit existing resale channels. We believe those “lost” items are not waste—they’re resources waiting for a second life.
What if a returned jacket with a broken zipper became a limited-edition tote? What if surplus fabric and defective pieces were reborn as accessories, interior items or brand merchandise your customers actually want? At Recouture, we renew existing materials through redesign, smart sorting and thoughtful production—so you can extend product life, build circular value, and create stories your customers can see and feel.
What we can redesign:
returned items with minor damage (zippers, seams, stains, missing parts)
defect batches from production
surplus stock / deadstock textiles and trims
uniform and workwear phase-outs
leftover cuttings and textile waste streams
What it can become:
limited-edition accessories (totes, pouches, straps, travel kits)
branded merchandise made from your own materials
capsule drops and “recrafted” collections
interior and utility products for hospitality/retail
customer loyalty items with traceable origin
Local production — close to Oslo
Recouture is a local production space located 40 minutes outside Oslo. Keeping production close allows faster collaboration, better quality control, smaller batches, and lower transport impact. It also makes it easy for partners to visit, develop prototypes, and build circular solutions together—hands-on and transparent.
Social sustainability
We don’t just redesign materials—we design for positive social impact too. Our model supports local jobs, skill-building and long-term craftsmanship, creating meaningful work and keeping knowledge in the community. We believe circularity must be both environmentally and socially sustainable—good for the planet, and good for people.
