Anne Lise at Øvrebø Smykkeverkstad.

Silver Details, Shared Values.

I came across Anne Lise Øvrebø’s beautiful craftsmanship by chance while browsing, and instantly fell in love with her jewelry — especially the pieces inspired by the traditional Jølster åkle. Her work carries a quiet strength, rooted in tradition and shaped by hand.

I reached out to her, and from that connection grew a small but meaningful collaboration. Anne Lise created a set of silver buttons in the same design language as her jewelry — made especially for me to use in my redesign projects.

These buttons are more than just closures — they are miniature pieces of art, handcrafted in 925 silver at her workshop in Jølster. They complete the Arv Recut Shirt perfectly, becoming the final touch that ties everything together.

This is what I love about small-scale craftsmanship: when makers support each other, something truly special happens. Every detail tells a story — and these buttons are one of them.

Øvrebø Smykkeverkstad “Jewelry Workshop” was established in 2003 by goldsmith and filigree artisan Anne Lise Øvrebø.
High-quality craftsmanship in timeless designs becomes jewelry with a distinct character. Over time, the goldsmith has developed well-crafted models and collections, with many people finding their personal favorites. Some products are made in limited numbers only.
Design inspiration is often drawn from local cultural treasures or the nature surrounding her home in Jølster.
