Recycling at Plasteriet.

Meet Vincent and Hanne

Plasteriet is run by two creative individuals, Vincent and Hanne, who are passionate about creating a fairer world where the circular economy becomes the norm. They aim to offer sustainable products that are accessible to everyone. They believe that materials already produced deserve a second chance, and consumers should have easy access to these upcycled products.

Buttons with a Story
- from Local Plastic Waste

In the Arv Recut Shirt, you’ll find unique buttons made from recycled plastic—specifically from old caviar tube caps. Each button has its own story. By using locally sourced, recycled materials, we give something overlooked a second life.

This small choice makes a big difference: it cuts down on waste and adds real character to every shirt. No two are exactly alike—and that’s exactly the point. Sustainability lives in the details.

At Plasteriet, you'll find unique and practical items in vibrant colours, all crafted from locally sourced plastic waste. Each product is handmade by Vincent Gartiser of Utoplast at Nyhavna in Trondheim.

The raw materials come from plastic packaging and other plastic items collected from individuals and local businesses eager to contribute to a more circular future.

Our goal is to create beautiful objects from materials that are no longer needed. We aim to be a breath of fresh air and a positive force in the circular economy.

Vincent and Hanne are dedicated to transforming plastic waste into practical and colorful products, contributing to a more sustainable and circular future.
