Meet Irina – our new seamstress at Recouture.

Irina came to Norway from Kharkov, Ukraine a year ago, together with her 12-year-old son.
With many years of experience behind the sewing machine, she brings precision, calmness, and a genuine love for craftsmanship.

“I love creating something with my hands and seeing the result of my work.”

At Recouture, Irina thrives on reusing and reimagining textiles – and dreams of continuing to grow her skills and learn new techniques.
She values the nature, silence, and peacefulness of Hadeland – but like many who have had to leave their home country, she misses the peace of Ukraine.

In just a few days, she will finally be reunited with her other son, who’s coming to Norway ❤️
