Our very first test run.

We had to go out and test the anoraks to see if they could withstand the Norwegian mountains. Åkler are often made of wool, but they are not windproof, and there's often a lot of wind in the Norwegian mountains. We went for a randonee tour up Mefjellet, a short trip starting from Bygdin in Jotunheimen. The åkle jacket was warm and stylish on top of Mefjellet on this sunny day. We really blended in with the landscape, embracing the Norwegian heritage all around. If you're out in weather and wind, and windproof gear is required, leave the åkle jacket at the cabin and put it on for après-ski instead.
