Recouture “Refabrikken“
Hadeland, Norway.
Update.
We’re excited to share that Recouture is moving into a new location – with more space – at Harestua Torg in Hadeland!
There’s still work to be done before we move in, but the planning is well underway. In addition to producing the Recouture collection and developing new products from reused materials, we’re curating what else will be presented at the Recouture Creative Hub.
If you have any suggestions for what we could fill the space with, any wishes or ideas, please feel free to email me at hilde@recouture.no. I’d love to hear from you!
Grinakervev X Recouture
Arv Recut Shirt & Jacket
A quiet tribute to tradition, reshaped into something new.
We launched 17 pieces for the 17th of May – a Recouture take on the classic busserull shirt, crafted from striped cotton fabric woven by Grinakervev in Hadeland.
Items you missed…
“At Recouture, our passion for circular fashion and preserving local traditions drives everything we do. Each one-of-a-kind garment is created by repurposing existing products and materials, made with local production in Norway.
We believe these unique pieces don’t just add character to your wardrobe – they carry stories of innovation, heritage, and environmental responsibility.
We hope it feels just as meaningful to you as it does to us“.

Redesign
your own garment
How it works!
If you have a product hanging in your closet that you no longer use because you've grown tired of it, the size is a bit off, or it needs a small repair, we can help. We collect Norwegian åkler, which we use in our redesigns, and we have a large stock that we would love to share with you so that you can create your very own recouture åkle product. If you have inherited an åkle that holds sentimental value, but you don't want it hanging on the wall, you can send it along with your jacket. This way, you'll have your very own personal story and perhaps a memory of someone who means a lot to you. Send us an inquiry at hei@recouture.no with a picture of your jacket, and we'll get back to you with suggestions before the design process begins. See examples of prices below.

TWO OF A KIND ONE OF A KIND
Imagine products being discarded because repair costs are too high—returns, manufacturing defects, or surplus stock, all too common.
What if these were reborn as entirely new items?

An invitation to gift unique, one-of-a-kind pieces, crafted in Norway with love and tradition.
Let your loved one choose from our collection of upcycled garments—or send us their own jacket to be recoutured into something truly personal. The perfect way to support a greener future while contributing to shaping a new consumer behavior.
Upcycled Norwegian sophistication,
one-of-a-kind,
circular consumption.
